Join us for this rare opportunity - Chris Proctor, winner of the U.S. National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship, and popular Sugarhouse, Rounder, Flying Fish and Windham Hill recording artist will be performing in concert. An internationally recognized 6 and 12-string guitarist, composer, recording artist, performer, and clinician for Taylor Guitars, Proctor has produced several books and videos that teach his techniques and compositions for solo guitar, and writes extensively for the guitar press.

Chris’s warm stage presence and sense of humor, his 12-string and slide work, his adventurous 6-string techniques and tunings, his stunning original guitar pieces and arrangements, and his pioneering use of the electronic bow have all made him a favorite with guitar fans everywhere.

Ukulele Making Class February 19/20, 26/27


Chris Maggio will be leading this ukulele making class using kits. Attendance at all 4 sessions will be necessary to finish a ukulele. Classes will be from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Saturday Feb. 19, Sunday Feb. 20, Saturday Feb. 26 and Sunday Feb. 27. Cost is $32 non-members, $30 SAC members. Ms. Hsieh is a classical pianist that will be playing at the Skagway School on Sunday evening, February 20, 2011, beginning at 6:30 pm. Admission is $15/adults; $5/students; for members is $13/adults; $3/students. Advanced tickets are available at the Skagway School, The News Depot, Skagway Brewing Co., and You Say Tomato.
